Java Jazz Festival

Jakarta International Java Jazz Festival, well known as Java Jazz Festival is JFP’s annual jazz music festival which is held in the first full weekend of March every year. It was first held in 2005 at the Jakarta Convention Center and was able to attract 47.500 visitors. This year, when we were celebrating the 10th year anniversary of Jakarta International Java Jazz Festival at the JIExpo Kemayoran, The festival succeeded to attract more than 113.000 visitors throughout the 3-day festival by making Batik and Javanese Puppet as a theme for the design.

Throughout the years, Java Jazz Festival has presented thousands of musicians from around the world, such as Stevie Wonder, Jamie Cullum, Tony Braxton, Lee Ritenour, John Legend, James Brown, Joss Stone, Lisa Stansfield, Bob James, Tania Maria, Basia, Natalie Cole, Jamie Cullum and so many more.

Beside international musicians, we also presented the best of Indonesian talents such as Dira Sugandhi, Twilite Orchestra, Benny and Barry Likumahuwa, Glen Dauna, Gilang Ramadhan, Elfa’s Bossas, Tulus, Maliq & D’Essentials, Trio Lestari, Vina Panduwinata, Magenta Orchestra, Ruth Sahanaya and some special projects that could be seen only in the festival such as, P-Project Bigband, Tribute to Indonesian Jazz Legends, Krakatau reunion and many more.
